WordPress Welcomes New Version Called ‘Adderley’

Website builder and giant WordPress has recently announced their latest update, the WordPress 5.4 version who is also named as ‘Adderley’. Below are the list of updates that you need to know in this latest WordPress update.

Block Updates:

  • Support for feature images in the Gutenberg posts block
  • A new Breadcrumb Bar for navigation purposes
  • Additional color options for Buttons and Blocks as gradient shade of colors are now possible
  • Add media and text all in the same block which isn’t available in the previous version

Block Editor New Features:

  • Enjoy a new block of Social Icons and Button with quick access to easily add flavor to your website and be more interactive
  • New button block which replaced the old single Button block
  • A new guide in creating each block and customizing it as your very own
  • A default full screen mode to automatically oversee the entirety of your work as you finish every project

The overall speed of the interface is now 14 percent faster than usual and faster time-to-type is now at a faster rate of 51 percent. A clearer block navigation and easier selection is also included.

Besides from the block and interface improvement, the privacy of a user was also prioritized as data exports now is stapled with the users session information and location data in the community events widget.
